James P. Guenther
Jim is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt Law School. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humanities from Howard Payne University and the Charles D. Johnson Distinguished Educator Award by the International Association of Baptist Colleges and Universities, both in recognition of his significant contributions and extensive service to higher education. He has provided guidance on non-profit governance, board responsibilities, and compliance with state and federal laws to institutions across the country. He and his firm have advised various Baptist organizations for more than fifty-five years.
Jim is admitted to practice in Tennessee, the U.S. Federal District Court for Middle Tennessee, various Federal circuit courts, and the United States Supreme Court.
